History of DIET, Bhadrak

Brief Overview: DIET,Bhadrak Agarpada is one of the best teacher training institute of DISHA. It was in 4th place when the survey done during mukhyamantri sikhya puraskaar-2024. The college provides both pre and in service teacher training.

Location and history: The District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) in Bhadrak, Odisha is located at Agarpada, Po-B.T. Pur, Dist-Bhadrak, and Pin-756115. The office is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, except on holidays. Grievance redress is available from 10 AM to 5:30 PM, except on holidays.
In 1960 it was established as STS in this location in the year 2005it was upgraded to DIET, in the year 2016 BEd classes opened in this institution and withdrawn in 2022. Now only DElEd is continuing with a seat strength of 200.

Infrastructure: The College consists of one big administrative block with principal chamber. Along with this there are FLN ROOM,Balvatika Room,ICT Room, Resource Room, Socio Emotional Practice Room, two large class room with ICT facility, Two large training Hall with ICT facility, one toy room, women harassment cell, common room, girls common room, library, TLM room, large conference hall, mini conference hall. Two hostel for boys and girls. Playground.
